29 SEP to 01 OCT 2025, Nicosia , Cyprus
17ᵗʰ International Conference on Meteorology, Climatology & Atmospheric Physics
Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to join us at the International Conference on Meteorology, Climatology, and Atmospheric Physics (COMECAP2025), which will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in a hybrid format (in-person and online).
Since its establishment in 1992, COMECAP has been a cornerstone for scientific dialogue and innovation in the geosciences. This year’s conference, organized by the Hellenic Meteorological Society (HMS) and hosted by the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, Limassol, Cyprus, promises to continue this tradition by bringing together researchers, experts, and thought leaders from around the globe.
COMECAP2025 provides a unique opportunity to share cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions in a wide array of critical and emerging topics, including:
In addition to these themes, the conference will highlight the urgent challenges posed by climate change, such as its impact on food security, energy systems, and public health, as well as its role in intensifying extreme weather events. Together, we will explore pathways to resilience and sustainability in the face of these pressing issues.
Why Attend COMECAP2025?
Beyond the scientific program, attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the rich history, culture, and natural beauty of Cyprus, a crossroads of civilizations and a vibrant hub for research and innovation in the Eastern Mediterranean.
We warmly encourage you to join us at COMECAP2025 to contribute your expertise, expand your professional network, and collaborate in shaping the future of meteorology, climatology, and atmospheric sciences. Your participation will help advance the understanding of critical environmental challenges and inspire innovative solutions for a more sustainable world.
We look forward to welcoming you to Nicosia, Cyprus, and sharing an unforgettable experience of learning, discovery, and connection.
With warm regards,
On behalf of the Organizing Committee,
Panagiotis T. Nastos
