Dear Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to join us at the International Conference on Meteorology, Climatology, and Atmospheric Physics (COMECAP2025), which will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus, from 29 September to 1 October 2025, in a hybrid format (in-person and online).
Since its establishment in 1992, COMECAP has been a cornerstone for scientific dialogue and innovation in the geosciences. This year’s conference, organized by the Hellenic Meteorological Society (HMS) and hosted by the Eratosthenes Centre of Excellence, Limassol, Cyprus, promises to continue this tradition by bringing together researchers, experts, and thought leaders from around the globe.
COMECAP2025 provides a unique opportunity to share cutting-edge research, exchange ideas, and explore innovative solutions in a wide array of critical and emerging topics, including:
- Meteorology, Climatology, and Atmospheric Physics
- Climate Change and its Socioeconomic Impacts
- Air Quality, Pollution, and Environmental Sustainability
- Extreme Weather Events and Disaster Risk Reduction
- Renewable Energy, Environmental Technologies, and Mitigation Strategies
- Climate Impacts on Agriculture, Ecosystems, and Public Health
In addition to these themes, the conference will highlight the urgent challenges posed by climate change, such as its impact on food security, energy systems, and public health, as well as its role in intensifying extreme weather events. Together, we will explore pathways to resilience and sustainability in the face of these pressing issues.
